Elizabeth Magnolia Tree - Knowledgebase Question

I have had it 2years and deer nawed off the bark and it died. Now there is a lot of foliage coming from the root ball. I even see some fuzzy wanna be flower buds. Will this survive and will it bloom? Thank you.

Sorry about your magnolia tree! If you allow the foliage to grow you can choose one of the stems and train it into a new trunk for your new tree. I'd let everything grow until it is about 2-3 feet tall. Then choose the healthiest looking stem and cut off all the others. The one you leave will become the new trunk and it will eventually grow branches, leaves and flowers. Enjoy!
