I have 5 knockout rose plants aarox 3ft tall,2 of the 5 have their leaves turning yellow from bottom this lack of water

Yellowing lower leaves might just be the natural aging process, or indicate droughty conditions or even overwatering. You can wait until late winter or early spring and prune them back. They will respond by developing healthy new leaves all over. Best wishes with your Knockout roses!
