Forest Flame Pieris Disease - Knowledgebase Question

Little Rock, Ar

We bought and planted a forest flame pieris about 2 months ago. I recently noticed rust color spots on the new blooms and old leaves. We've had a lot of rain lately (Little Rock, AR) and I'm wondering if the spots could be due to excessive rain or a possible disease?

Brown or rust colored spots indicate a fungal disease. You should be able to control it with fungicide applications. Be sure to follow label directions. Hope the rain stops soon!
