Fertilizing New Grass - Knowledgebase Question

I sowed fescue grass seed 3 weeks ago & it is growing like crazy now. Should I fertilize it this fall?

The standard advice for new lawns is to wait for at least 6 weeks after planting, then a apply a light fertilization of 1/2 pound of nitrogen per 1000 square feet. So, wait another 3 weeks before feeding your lawn.
