I am starting to see holes in the leaves of my Hostas (planted by previous owner). On a closer look I saw some caterpillars near it. How do I control them? Thanks in advance.

Slugs usually favor hostas and you can control slugs and snails with a product like Sluggo. It's iron based and harmless to wildlife, pets and people. If you are actually seeing caterpillars as opposed to slugs, you can apply a product such as Dipel or Thuricide to control caterpillars. Whichever you use, be sure to apply according to label directions.
