|Spring is the best time to feed your landscape plants. Wait until you see new growth and then feed. Lemon trees are an exception. They prefer to be fed every 3-4 months. Use a specially formulated citrus tree food and apply in amounts and with the frequency as listed on the label. Amounts vary, depending upon the size of your tree. Roses prefer to be fed about every 6 weeks during the growing season and there are specially formulated fertilizers for them, as well. Persimmon trees will be happy with a single feeding each spring. Enjoy your garden!
