I'm afraid you'll need to take it back indoors over the winter months. You can prune it back quite severely to make it easier to handle, and to remove the yellowing, dropping leaves. It likely experienced some cool temperatures which is why it is dropping foliage. Prune it back, take it indoors, and it should recover. Hope it's soon!
