I want to plant ornamental grasses and a small tree in my border front of house facing south.Have you any suggestions for what type of weeping tree would be safe (roots would not interfere with the foundation). Can you give me any suggestions? Many thanks.

I would consider planting a dwarf weeping cherry tree (ornamental - no fruit), a dwarf weeping pussywillow (roots are less invasive on dwarf trees), or a dwarf apple tree (both columnar and weeping habits available). Hope one of these suggestions appeals to you!
