I planated several Helleri Holly about 2-3 years ago... they are all still living but show very little growth. I'm in Upstate South Carolina and they are in an east-facing bed. What should I be doing?

Ilex crenata 'Helleri' is perfect for your growing region. This plant has a very slow growth ratet. According to NC State University it only grows an inch a year, to a mature height of 2 to 3 feet, and 3 to 4 feet wide (in 10 years). I suspect your plants are doing just what they are supposed to do - retain their size but make tiny little spurts of growth.
