| I have a rock bed separating my neighbors yard from mine. I have agapanthus in that area. My question is, what can I use to control weeds in that area? There is bermuda grass and crab grass in with the plants as well as between them. I don't want to weed that area every 3 months. |
| I wish there were a product safe for use around your agapanthus, but anything you apply to the grassy weeds will also affect your agapanthus. You might be able to spot treat the weeds to eliminate them - as long as you keep the spray and drift off your plants. A pre emergent herbicide will keep weed seeds from sprouting next spring and summer but won't control the existing weeds. Wish there were an easier way or a better solution, but hand weeding seems like the best approach. |
