When should I put lime on the yard and what are the benefits to the lawn? How often should the lawn be aerated and seeded if it was done six months ago?

Lime is usually applied in the fall months. Lime will help mellow acidic soil which makes nutrients more available to the roots of your plants. Lawns can be aerated every 3-4 years to help reduce compaction. If you aerated 6 months ago you should not need to aerate again for at least 3 years. You can overseed your lawn whenever it begins to thin out. Spring or fall are good times to overseed. Best wishes with your lawn!
