Some of our carrots have been nibbled near the top by some furry friends. Is it okay to eat these carrots anyway? Wouldn't that be like inviting a rodent to eat off your dinner plate? Is disease a worry when this happens?

I would be inclined to harvest the carrots and simply cut away the damaged portions. You might be surprised what kinds of critters munch on the crops grown in agricultural areas! I think the carrots are safe. When a plant is damaged it usually compartmentalizes the damage (seals it off) so I don't think bunny drool will travel throughout the carrot.
