|i live in eastpointe michigan i planted a roll of 11 knock out roses as foundation plant in the rear of the house three weeks ago.do i need to surround them with burlap for the winter and is it to late to plant more

|It is not to late to plant more and after planting you can mulch over the tops of the plants (up over the graft or swelling on the main stem) to help protect them from winter weather. Since they are close to the foundation of your house they will probably be somewhat protected by overhanging eaves or at least by the building itself so I don't think additional protection - other than mulch - will be necessary. Enjoy your Knockout roses!
