|I want to divide pneony and grasses, when is the best time, fall or spring?

|Fall is best for both. Peonies resent being dug and divided but if you do it at the end of the summer (or in the fall) the plants will have all winter and early spring to recover so they can leaf out and flower right on schedule. Ornamental grasses don't really have a preference so you can dig and divide them at any time of the year. Enjoy your garden!
