Choose moderately salt tolerant plants for the swimming pool area and they should not be bothered with occasional salt water overflow. Adam's-needle, African milk brush, Bay cedar, Crown-of-thorns, Inkberry, Jade plant, Lucky nut, Night cestrum, Rattle box, Ribbon bush and Satsuki azalea are all good choices for a poolside area.

Plumeria cuttings can be taken at any time. Set them aside to dry and callus over on the cut ends and then set the bottom end of the cutting in moist potting soil or sand. Place the cuttings in full sunshine and keep the potting soil moist but not soggy wet. Your cuttings will root and then will begin to grow new leaves. Enjoy!
