I planted these trees lasxt Oct. and now they seem to be dying. They have started to turn yellowish and is hard and brittle. My returned policy is coming up soon. What can I do to restore them so they can live?

I can't imagine what's affecting your new cypresses. It's normal for plants to go through some stress after transplanting but they should have gotten over that months ago! It's important to keep your trees well hydrated. You can accomplish this by watering deeply once each week. Make sure the planting site drains well (you don't want to drown the plants), and be sure to water deeply by building a basin around each and filling it with water, allowing it to drain and then filling it a second time. This method of watering will concentrate the moisture just above the root system and allow it to trickle down and wet the entire root mass. Hope you see an improvement soon!
