I just planted golden dewdrops about a month ago. They are getting brown spots. What can I do? Thank you

The brown spots can indicate sunburn or sunscald (if water droplets are on the leaves in the hot sunshine), or they can indicate insect feeding or even a fungal disease. Since Duranta responds well to pruning, I would prune the plant back to remove the affected foliage and to open the plant up to better air circulation. The new growth should be healthy.
