I have an indoor Hibiscus If I cut it back to shorten it will it shock the plant and no longer bloom?

Hibiscus blooms on new growth and pruning encourages new growth, so pruning your hibiscus is a win-win situation. You can control the size of your plant and encourage new flowers by pruning it back. Enjoy!
