Why do my 3wk old Alamandra (golden trumpet) require so much water. Its almost daily! Is this normal? Thanks, Marilyn

Allamanda can be quite thirsty when it is actively growing so I don't think it is unusual for your plant to need so much water. Plants in containers need to be watered more frequently than the same plants in the ground and plants in the garden in sandy soils will need frequent waterings, as well. Water as often as necessary to keep your plant from wilting and it should respond with lots of healthy growth. Enjoy!
