|I live in zone 7. I have the next week off of work (10/5-10/9) and plan to plant my bulbs, iris, tulips and hyacinth. Is that too early? Does it just mean they will bloom earlier?

|September and October are perfect months to plant spring blooming bulbs. Go ahead and plant at your convenience. The bulbs will bloom right on time which, of course, is weather related - so they will bloom on their own schedule as long as you get them into the ground in the fall. Enjoy your spring display!
