|I put in a crape myrtle tree over a year ago. It was the only one of 3 that appeared to survive those first few months and when I look at it even though it looks alive there was just only one place where a new branch grew ... about 6

|It can take several months for a tree to establish in a new site and once it does, it should grow nicely for you. A year is a long time to wait! I'd give it one more chance - water it deeply once a week and feed it in the spring with a 10-10-10 fertilizer. As long as it is getting lots of sunshine and adequate water it should grow. If you see no new growth by early summer, I'd remove it and replace it with a healthy specimen.
