|I noticed yellow bugs on my calypso oleander. Are these harmful to the plant?

|Sounds like the yellow oleander aphid and yes, they can be harmful if the populations are large. I'd spray them off the plant with a strong stream of water. Repeat as often as necessary. Since they are soft-bodied insects, insecticidal soap will control them but the residue from the fatty acids can discolor the leaves of your oleander. I'd try hosing them off with plain water.
