This is my first year at growing Goose Neck Pumpkins. I purchased a package of Burpees Heirloom Goose Neck Pumpkin seeds and the plants have grown great. I have 3 pumpkins on the vine and they are over 26 inches long and its only August. My question is are they going to get much bigger? And when do I harvest them? The skin on the pumpkins are still kind of white looking with some stripes.

Leave them on the vine as long as you can and let them color fully. Wait until the skin is very tough and will not pierce with your fingernail, but be sure to harvest them before frost. The ultimate size will depend somewhat on the weather and the cultural conditons. Those are great pie pumpkins!
