Since leaves are browning, and caused by over watering or air to dry. Should I mist leaves and cut back watering once a week.

You can increase humidity around your plant by setting the container on a tray in which you place a layer of gravel and keep a half inch of water. As the water evaporates it will increase the humidity around your plant. I think this is a more efficient way of increasing humidity around your plant because it is constant rather than a once a day treatment. Water your palm throughly and then allow the top half inch of soil to dry out before you water again. Best wishes with your plant!
