|I can't tell what the worms are without actually seeing them but I suspect that they are a secondary problem and arrived to feed on the decaying tree roots rather than causing the death of your Queen palm. I'd be curious enough to take a sample of the worms and the part of the palm they are feeding on into the cooperative extension office or Master Gardener Clinic for professional diagnosis/identification.
