what is the best way to get out wild geranium in my lawn. my lawn fronts on a lake

Because you're waterfront I would suggest hand pulling the wild geranium - the clumps are shallow rooted and easy to pull - and then apply a corn gluten meal pre emergent early next spring to keep the seeds from sprouting and growing into new plants. CONCERN Weed Prevention Plus is one product, but there are others available. Be sure to apply before the weeds sprout!
