fertilizing autumn annuals - Knowledgebase Question

im planting winter pansies, cyclamen, stock, snapdragons and icelandic poopies in my Sacramento garden for winter color. Should I be fertilizing them now? with liquid or slow release fertilizer?

As a general rule of thumb, you can feed your plants as long as they are actively growing. With your fall and winter annuals and perennials, you can feed now with a slow release to keep them happy during their bloom season. Enjoy your colorful garden!
