Firecraker plant needs lots of room to grow because it does not respond well to heavy pruning. You can lightly prune the plant after each bloom period, but be careful not to cut it back too hard or it will look odd and unattractive for several months. Just prune the tips of the branches back after the flowers fade. Best wishes with your landscape!
