We just purchased & planted a Painted Lady Hibiscus. Several leaves have started to turn yellow- is this something we should be concerned about and if so, what is the remedy? Thank you

Hibiscus is an evergreen and while it holds its leaves for a long time, eventually the oldest leaves turn yellow and drop. If the yellowing leaves are sporadic within the plant, it's normal. If an entire stem develops yellow leaves, it can indicate a problem. Sounds like normal leaf shed to me, especially since your plant is new and is busy adjusting to its new home. Best wishes with your new hibiscus!
