I had a problem with slugs and fungus on all my large leaf plants I am ctting don to ground level is there any thing I can use to make sure no eggs are still around |
Slug eggs are laid in clusters in the soil so I'd cultivate the soil around the plants to dig up any clusters that might be lurking there. I've had problems with slugs and snails, too, and use a bait called Sluggo. It is iron based so anything not consumed will dissolve into simple iron which is good for the soil. It is harmless to wildlife, pets and people but very efficient in controlling slugs and snails. Good luck with your garden! |
