I live in Queens, NY and have just planted four beautiful & colorful bushels of Mums in my front garden area. Is it too late in the year for them? will they not survive throughout the fall season? Thanks.
|Mums grow and flower best in the cool fall months. You should enjoy flowers clear through November if you prune off the spent flowers as they begin to fade. A heavy frost will kill the tops of the plants down but they will resprout next spring. Enjoy your mums!|
