Good Day!
I live in Queens, NY and have just planted four beautiful & colorful bushels of Mums in my front garden area. Is it too late in the year for them? will they not survive throughout the fall season? Thanks.

Mums grow and flower best in the cool fall months. You should enjoy flowers clear through November if you prune off the spent flowers as they begin to fade. A heavy frost will kill the tops of the plants down but they will resprout next spring. Enjoy your mums!
