We just had part of lawn reseeded with new top soil 2 weeks ago and grass is coming in some spots. The temperature this week is going to a high of 58 with a low of 32. Can I add seed to the bare spots. (in Philadelphia Pa suburbs)

I know you want your new landscape to grow and flourish but your new lawn should not be fed until it has been mowed 3 times. You really want the roots of the turf to establish well before winter arrives. So resist the urge to fertilize now. Wait until spring when new growth begins. At that time you can apply a time release granular fertilizer, or fertilizer stakes, or liquid fertilizer. Any of these formulations are just fine for your new lawn.
