'Blue Daze' Evolvulus (Evolvulus nuttallianus) is a heat-loving flowering plant with a low, spreading growth habit. It blooms all summer, displaying powder blue flowers which contrast nicely with the silvery-green foliage. 'Blue Daze' was one of two 1996 Mississippi Medallion Winners, an award given to designate truly superior landscape plant species and varieties. Spreading growth to 2-3' wide, and reaching 6-12" in height, 'Blue Daze' evolvulus is useful as a groundcover, a border, or in hanging baskets. You can prune yours back by about one-half now and it will respond with new growth and lots of new flowers. Enjoy!
