I just answered your previous question, but I didn't realize you were talking about multi-trunked palms. If some of the trunks are dying, I suspect the soil is remaining too wet for your plants. Be careful with your watering. They need a deep soaking twice a week during hot weather, once a week during the cooler months. If water does not drain well, the roots can suffocate. If water drains too quickly, or if you are not applying enough water to thoroughly wet the root mass, the smaller palms can die from water stress. Hope this information helps you determine just what might be causing the problem. Good luck with your palms!
