|Your geraniums are doing what comes naturally - they are dying because it's the end of the growing season. You may be able to take cuttings to root indoors and keep them over the winter months so you can plant them outdoors again next spring. Just snap or cut off 4-5" long stems and pop them into moistened potting soil or set them in a glass of water. If new roots form you can plant them and set them on a sunny windowsill. Best wishes with your geraniums.
