I planted my hardy mums in window boxs and containers . After their spent, can I plant them in the ground for next fall blooming?

You absolutely can! The tops will die down in the winter and you can cut them from the plant when you are sure they are dead. In the spring they will develop healthy new stems. Enjoy!
