front of my house has direct sun all day long. Need some sort of plant/bush/flower that will sustain Florida's hot sun; summer, winter, spring or fall direct sun all the time. Everything I plant just burns up.

Some of the best heat and drought tolerant plants for your region include Mexican sage, Salvia (many varieties), Gazania, Agastache, Penstemon, Yarrow, Germander
Russian sage, Blue catmint, Kangaroo paw, Aloe and Rockrose. Hope these do well in your landscape.
