In live in Hawaii and have planted eggplants. After a few months, the leaves of the eggplants are turning a faded light-green color and started curling up and dying. I think its red spider mites. How can I treat my plants to rid them from these mites??? Thank you.

Spider mites leave little webs between the stems and the leaf petioles. If you find these tell-tale webs, spider mites are probably the cause of the off color leaves. In a vegetable garden you can dust your plants with sulfur or you can spray with Insecticidal Soap. Whichever product you use, be sure to follow label directions. Best wishes with your eggplants.
