I have a beautiful staghorn fern and it has white flat bugs with tails. I took them off with Qtip with alcohol. Any other suggestions?

Your treatment was excellent. If the bugs laid eggs, you may see a new population in a few weeks. Just keep after them with your Q-Tip dipped in rubbing alcohol and you will eventually wipe out the entire population. Best wishes with your staghorn!
