Tomatoes can develop lots of green growth but no flowers if they are in too much shade, get too much fertilizer or are planted at the wrong time of the year. Hot weather can keep the plants from flowering and setting fruits. In Phoenix, plant your tomatoes in early March so they can mature and be harvested before really hot summer weather.

Sounds like your pepper plants have an infestation of spidermites. These tiny little critters are red when you crush them and they leave tell-tale webbing on the leaves and stems. A neem oil based pesticide such as Bioneem or Bon-Neem will control the pests.

The leaves of your grapefruit tree are probably showing signs of sunscald. It happens a lot in the desert. The leaves will eventually drop but they will be replaced by healthy new leaves later in the winter or early spring.

Good luck with your garden!
