Cacti and succulents are sun lovers and while you can plant them all together and grow them indoors, they will need some supplemental lighting during the winter months. Without it, they won't thrive and you'll be disappointed in their appearance. Gro-lites can help supplement natural light and they need to be on for 12-14 hours a day. If you provide this type of light, your plants may actually bloom this winter! Best wishes with your cactus garden!
