I have just moved from the North to the Gulf Coast of Florida. My lawn has more weeds than grass. I have planted some St. Augustine plugs and have put down Vigiro Weed and Feed. What else can I do to help improve my lawn?

Sounds like you've done most everything you can at this point. As the St. Augustine spreads, it should help crowd out those weeds. You can hand pull or dig the largest weeds and in February or March you can apply a corn gluten meal based pre emergent herbicide to help keep weed seeds from germinating. Best wishes with your lawn!
