Is it okay to trim my azaleas now or will I cut off future blossoms?

If you prune now you chance cutting off next spring's floral display. Azaleas develop both leaf and flower buds over the summer months for the following spring. You can check your plant - leaf buds are skinny and narrow; flower buds are short and fat. If you do any pruning now, don't prune off the fat buds and you'll still get a floral display. Best wishes with your azaleas!
