Dear Garden Expert,

Is it best to leave the lawn on the high side for winter or to cut it short for the winter months? I live in south western Pennsylvania.

Thanks, carl

The general advise is to cut your lawn low for the winter months. Don't scalp it, just mow it a little lower than normal.
