I live in northern Nebraska. have gathered wild flower dry seed tops. is it best to scatter them on the ground now (early winter) or wait and plant in spring??

Wildflowers generally survive winter temperatures so I'd scatter the seeds now. They will sprout in early spring and begin growing when the weather warms which will give them a few week's head start next season so they will establish earlier and flower sooner. Go ahead and scatter the seeds now. Enjoy!
