What trees that grow in cental Florida do not drop their leaves in winter? Are there any varieties of oaks that don't drop their leaves?

There are lots of broadleaf evergreen trees that retain their leaves year around. Some to consider include: Wax myrtle (Myrica cerifera) which grows 20-30 feet; Southern magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora); Silk Oak (Grevillea robusta); Loquat (Eriobotrya japonica); Glossy privet (Ligustrum lucidum). Hollies (Ilex) and many Oaks (Quercus) are evergreen, as well. Quercus acuta, or Japanese Evergreen Oak, is a popular landscape tree in Central Florida, as are Live Oaks.
