Veggies in partial sun areas - Knowledgebase Question

Where can we get best info regarding veggies to grow 1.) in the cool and, 2.) in the warm, seasons in northern Florida, where we have only 3 to 4 hours of sun per day because of trees that block the sun the remainder of the day?

The University of Florida has a detailed publication on vegetable gardening that I think you will find helpful. You can read or download a copy by visiting: http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/vh021

Some leafy veggies will grow in shady conditions. Leaf lettuces, some cabbages, and even snap peas will grow in partial sun/partial shade. Others are listed in the publication.
