My question is about irises. Is it to late to transplant them, my friend is having her driveway done, and has to move the irises. There hasn't been a hard frost yet, but I don't want to damage them!

You can safely dig and transplant irises now. You won't hurt them and by next spring they will be well established and ready to grow. Best wishes with the move!
