|I am trying to remove several rather large clumps of pampas grass. What is the best way to get them out? They are about 2 feet in diameter and 5-6 feet tall. Thank you.

|I wish there were an easy way to remove pampas grass, but the only sure way is to cut it down and then dig out all the roots. Start by pruning the plant down to ground level (wear long sleeves and gloves - the leaves are needle sharp), then dig out the roots. Expect the roots to be about 18" deep and directly beneath the clump. Good luck with your project!
