what is the difference between homogeneous blend fertilizers and simple mix fertilizers

There really isn't a whole lot of difference. Fertilizers are mixes of NPK, each in individual granules. Simple mix fertilizers have NPK in separate granules. Homogeneous fertilizers have the same elements, but hey are powdered together and then formed into granules, each of whichs contain all 3 main nutrients. Your plants won't care, as long as they get the NPK they need.
